Meet the Owner

Natalie McCarter, MSN, CRNA, is a native of Greenville, NC, and began her nursing career at ECU Health in the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit. After two years of ICU experience, she pursued her Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia at East Carolina University, where she graduated with honors in 2016.

Natalie launched her anesthesia career at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern, NC. By 2018, she expanded into independent practice, providing office-based dental anesthesia services. Over the years, her scope broadened to include outpatient plastic surgery centers and endoscopy suites, where she continues to deliver safe, tailored anesthesia care.

As the founder of Safe and Sound Anesthesia, Natalie leads a practice committed to providing high-quality outpatient anesthesia services in Eastern North Carolina. Outside of her professional work, Natalie is actively involved in her church, enjoys the outdoors, and values time with her family.
